Dear Farm & Haus Dinner Delivery Customers,
Patrick & Brittany, here. Over the course of the past four years, we have grown an incredible business that has evolved from a homegrown farm-to-table dinner delivery service into a successful brick n’ mortar cafe located in the heart of Orlando’s most revered food and culture hub, East End Market. Since the launch of our cafe, we’ve also seen significant growth in the areas of corporate and private event catering, wholesale distribution and most recently, the launch of a mobile storefront through our partners at FLEAT. On a personal note, we also welcomed the birth of our first little one, Fitz, during this exciting time. To say that it's been a busy, yet rewarding, past few years is an understatement.
In addition to all of these achievements, we have also seen a significant shift in the delivery market here in Orlando. We are proud to say that we were one of the first of our kind to bring farm-to-table dinner delivery to our market. Not having a tech background, it was a challenge to bootstrap a logistics program, one filled with ups and downs, trial and error. But all along, you stuck by our side and for that, we are eternally grateful.
As we take a look at these past few years, and more importantly, the future of Farm & Haus, it always comes back to the same thing for us: providing healthy, quality and delicious food made easy and accessible to you.
With all of our success, we have also seen ourselves stretched thin both personally and in our business. We saw more mistakes happening on the delivery side and less time that we were able to devote to what matters: maintaining the highest standards for customer service, food quality and creating innovative and interesting dishes.
Luckily, we were introduced to a company called FLEAT who specializes in mobilizing local brands to bring their products and services right to your door. About eight months ago we began BETA testing their software and launched the first Farm & Haus mobile cafe this past fall.
What we have found is that the user experience is significantly more successful than the other third-party delivery services such as Uber Eats or Postmates, the food is kept in better quality, and most importantly, it is an experience that is completely controlled by us and our brand, by Farm & Haus employees, instead of unfamiliar drivers of third-party delivery apps.
All of this is to say that we have spent the past few years doing our very best to not only make great food but to get it into your hands as easily as possible. However, with innovative new options at our fingertips that can provide exceptional service to you, while allowing us to focus on what we do best, creating amazing food, it would behoove us to not take full advantage of this.
